So far, what I would call 'phase 1' of the bankruptcy, has gone fairly smooth. Obviously, this is a stressful time for anyone in this situation and Tanya, the paralegal assigned to me, was a good blend of compassion, empathy, knowledge and professionalism. I was able to speak to a lawyer on the phone. My bankruptcy has been filed and I will post after the court hearing with an update.The final result will tell if their knowledge and experience was sufficient to solve my financial issues and provide much needed relief for me.
